Autonomous street sweeper Trombia Free selected to take part for the spring pilots of Jätkäsaari Mobility Lab in Helsinki Finland

Trombia Free, the full-power autonomous street sweeper made by Finnish street maintenance technology developer Trombia Technologies is selected to take part in the Jätkäsaari Mobility Lab spring pilot. Out of 40 applicants, 5 was selected, Trombia Free being the one piloting autonomous street sweeping in West Harbour district in Helsinki Finland. The pilot will take place in April as the weather conditions enable proper street sweeping. 

 Since founding we have focused to redesign the old ways of sweeper and snow plow attachment industry. Smart, low-emission street cleaning is our passion and it can have a significant role when cities all over the world need to find more sustainable ways to keep our cities clean. We are proud to be among the Jätkäsaari Mobility Lab piloting projects, says CEO Antti Nikkanen from Trombia Technologies. 

The objective of Jätkäsaari Mobility Lab is to support the development and testing of new innovations to enable new business opportunities and growth while supporting the development of smooth, safe and sustainable mobility. It is coordinated by the City of Helsinki with its innovation company, Forum Virium Helsinki, as the co-coordinator.
